CAPEL DEWI UCHAF COUNTRY HOUSE is a beautiful Grade II listed 500-year-old house amid quiet and beautiful countryside in the Towy Valley, Carmarthenshire, offering B & B in a restful atmosphere and country gardens. The kitchen garden serves the kitchen with fresh organic produce for our dinner parties served for our guests. Memorable breakfasts which have attracted BEST BREAKFAST IN WALES AWARD from the AA. Each bedroom is en suite and decorated in country style with tea and coffee making facilities, hair drier and TV. The guests lounge has a TV, wind up gramaphone, piano and guitar. 'Your holiday is our pleasure too'.
We are probably the nearest B&B to the National Botanic Garden, it is walkable. Aberglasney is approximately 10 mins in the car. For our guests, staying three nights, we will reimburse you for your garden entry tickets to either The National Botanic Garden or Aberglasney Garden. Our own garden is a pleasure to look round especially in the spring when all the snow drops, daffodils, wood anemone, and bluebells are in flower. We grow organic vegetables and fruits to make our own jams.
Our horses are always pleased to see our guests and enjoy all the attention they deserve! Bring your own horse on holiday, we have BHS approved stabling.
Fishing is available on our 500 metres of of the Towy River.
Self catering is available in Garden Cottage which sleeps six people. It has 5 star status which has loads of room for everyone with a fully equiped kitchen for the cooks in the family. You will probably never want to go out!
