Full Details:
Located in a tranquil and secluded valley, this eight-acre informal woodland garden was created in the early 20th century. The extensive collection of rhododendrons and azaleas is one of the finest in Wales and the attractive walled garden features a gothic style gazebo. There’s a new themed sculpture trail centred around carved oak benches, depicting creatures found in the garden. And also you can stroll along many walks on open and wooded paths with opportunities to admire the carpet of bluebells which follow the daffodils in spring, and later in the summer, the displays of hydrangeas, which precede the rich colours of autumn. Full programme of events including walks with the Head Gardener, Art days and open air theatre – visit the National Trust website or phone 01834 811885 for more details.
