Yes - not suitable for large coaches (narrow access lanes) - please enquire

Limited. Some steep slopes and gravel paths. Less abled persons can be dropped off closer to house - beyond main car parking area.

Enjoy a gentle stroll through the gardens that surround this fine Medieval Castle (a private residence) occupying an idyllic situation commanding beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and the ruins of Carew castle.

35 acres of mature gardens and arboretum with many unusual camelias, magnolias, rhododendrons and other trees and shrubs including a 50yr old Davidia (Handkerchief Tree). There are formal rose gardens, herbaceous borders, a Victorian kitchen garden (now being restored), a woodland walk to the estuary and a 13th century chapel containing fine medieval effigies and stone carvings including the unique clenched fist candelabrum.
